TVXQ! U-KNOW Yunho Names SHINee MINHO & KEY His Passion Heirs
등록일2025.11.05
U-KNOW Yunho of TVXQ! has released his first full-length solo album, I-KNOW ―an ambitious set fueled by curiosity and, yes, plenty of passion. He says the seed for the project was planted during his military service, and he's finally ready to bring that concept to life. Unveiled at a press event in Seoul on Nov. 5, lead single “Stretch” is a hard-hitting electronic pop track where hushed, chant-like vocals ratchet up the tension. Its lyrics explore his inner relationship with dance and the stage, a theme that pairs with the double title track “Body Language.” “I always scribble down what I learn from each experience,” U-KNOW Yunho shared. “When I put out my last record, I said, 'The next one's a fake documentary.' It's meaningful to see that idea become an album. I'll go home after this press conference and write about how it felt―those notes always turn into ideas for my music.” As for why his drive still burns bright more than two decades into his career, he added, “People call me the 'passion guy,' but I'm not intense about everything. If I'm not interested, I say no. When I do care, I give it everything―and if I can, I want to experience it firsthand. Stack that up over time and it reads as passion to other people.” Asked who could carry that torch next, U-KNOW Yunho pointed to SHINee's MINHO and KEY. “It depends on the field. In sports, no one can keep up with MINHO. For overall activity, KEY is pure passion―he's everywhere on TV and keeps the music coming.” Among the rookies, he shouted out RIIZE: “They're endlessly curious and incredibly driven. They're working on an album, and you'll see that passion on full display.” The “Stretch” music video pits U-KNOW Yunho against his shadow in a taut, kinetic face-off, and it connects narratively with the previously released “Body Language” visual. U-KNOW Yunho's first studio album I-KNOW drops Nov. 5 at 6 p.m. KST on major streaming platforms, with the physical release arriving the same day. Jang Ki-yong & Ahn Eun-jin Say Their Chemistry in 'Dynamic Kiss' Is '100 Out of 100'
등록일2025.11.05
The leads of SBS's new Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Dynamic Kiss'―Jang Ki-yong and Ahn Eun-jin―opened up about their on-screen chemistry at a press conference held Nov. 5 at SBS headquarters in Mok-dong, Seoul. Jang praised Ahn's vibe from day one. “She's naturally upbeat and full of bright energy. Even at our first meeting, the energy she gave off was incredible,” he said, adding that their rehearsals often sparked ideas beyond the page. “We'd find new beats the script didn't spell out, and that really helped us level up the scenes. I'm genuinely grateful to Eunjin.” 'Dynamic Kiss' follows single woman Go Da-rim (Ahn Eun-jin), who disguises herself as a married mom to land a job, and her team leader Gong Ji-hyeok (Jang Ki-yong), who unexpectedly falls for her―their mutual crush simmering beneath the surface. On screen, Jang plays Gong Ji-hyeok, the sharp, unflappable head of the Mother TF team at a baby-products company―someone with brains, cool judgment and a bias for action. A skeptic about love, he's thrown into a tailspin after an earth-shattering kiss with a woman who vanishes without a trace. Ahn takes on Go Da-rim, a single woman who pretends to be a married mom to make ends meet at the same company. There, she reunites with the man from that unforgettable kiss. Da-rim is a “sunshine heroine” who keeps her head up―even when love and work refuse to come easy. Before they met, Ahn assumed Jang would be a cool, hard-to-approach type. “His image felt a little aloof and effortlessly chic,” she said. “In person, he's disarmingly playful―there's a boyish charm that's so endearing. As Ji-hyeok, that side of him really shines.” She also loved how unpredictable he was in scene work. “I'd think, 'He'll deliver the line this way,' and then he'd do something totally unexpected―and it was always so fun to watch,” Ahn shared. “We often realized we were thinking the same thing without even saying it. It felt like we just clicked.” Asked to rate their couple chemistry, Ahn didn't hesitate: “A perfect 100.” She added, “We've got it all―cute, sexy, swoony romance, playful bickering, even cozy, comfortable moments. There's no chance to get bored. I think people will fall for our couple.” You can catch their sweet-and-spicy chemistry when 'Dynamic Kiss' premieres Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 9 p.m. on SBS. 'Kick a Goal' Lee Hyun-yi Out for the Season as FC Gucheokjangshin Faces Its Biggest Crisis Yet
등록일2025.11.05
FC Gucheokjangshin is staring down a nightmare: team anchor Lee Hyun-yi has been ruled out for the season with an injury. On the Nov. 5 episode of SBS' Kick a Goal , the first GIFA Cup semifinal takes center stage as defending G League champs FC Gucheokjangshin square off against FC World Class, a surging contender since the addition of “Emperor” Jai. With a spot in the final on the line, expect a fiery clash. The setback is massive. Lee, widely seen as the squad's emotional leader, suffered a nose injury in the previous Round of 6 and won't return this season. In the sudden leadership void, veteran Lee Hye-jung admitted, “What do we even do now?” Newly appointed captain Kim Jin-kyung added, “Without Hyun-yi, we're missing that steadying voice when things get shaky.” All eyes are on how Gucheokjangshin will regroup without its heartbeat. To steady the ship, a familiar face is back. Fan favorite Song Hae-na―nicknamed “Haena-baro”―returns to the team after nearly two years. Known for clean defending and sharp positioning, she rushed back to lift the embattled side. “I joined late, so I've only had four days of practice,” she said, “but I'll be the energy spark that keeps the team buzzing.” Can her return jump-start Gucheokjangshin's run? Head coach Lee Young-pyo is also plotting a tactical reset built around patient build-up play. “If we want to evolve, we have to commit to building from the back,” he said, shelving the team's old staples―tight man-marking and long throws―in favor of a pass-first, Gucheokjangshin-branded tiki-taka. Early looks suggest higher possession and a fresh on-field identity. How will Gucheokjangshin fare against powerhouse World Class without its captain? Find out when Kick a Goal airs tonight, Nov. 5, at 9 p.m. KST on SBS. (SBS Entertainment News | Kang Sun-ae)

Disney+ unveils its new Korean original thriller The Manipulated today (Nov. 5). From writer Oh Sang-ho (Taxi Driver) and directors Park Shin-woo and Kim Chang-joo, the series follows Tae-jung (Ji Chang-wook), an everyday guy whose life shatters when he's wrongfully swept into a brutal crime and sent to prison―only to discover the nightmare was meticulously engineered by Yohan (D.O.). Episodes 1-4 drop today. First-look stills set the tone for a high-stakes, no-way-out thriller. Tae-jung, a tireless hard worker with a warm streak, is blindsided when police storm in and arrest him. He insists he has no idea who the victim is, but every piece of evidence points his way. Watching his world collapse in an instant, his stunned expression says it all. Meanwhile, Yohan's icy composure amps up the tension. On the phone, he coolly pitches an elite protection service to ultra-wealthy clients: “We'll make it as if it never happened from the start.” The true nature of his shadowy “sculpting” operation remains a tantalizing mystery. Tae-jung finds an unexpected anchor in Yongsik (Kim Jong-soo), who quietly pulls him back from the brink. Enduring a hellish stretch behind bars, Tae-jung notices another inmate who has lived through the exact same setup. Realizing the catastrophe that stole everything from him was deliberately “sculpted,” he vows revenge―setting off a whirlwind built for pure catharsis. Pitting Ji Chang-wook in full-throttle revenge mode against D.O. in his first villain turn, The Manipulated also features Kim Jong-soo, Jo Yoon-soo and Lee Kwang-soo. After today's four-episode premiere, the 12-episode series will continue with two new episodes every week. Photo= Disney+ (SBS Entertainment News | Kang Sun-ae)
