The '2026 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer' has officially unveiled its second lineup, drawing intense attention from music fans worldwide. Set to take place on Sunday, August 9, at KINTEX in Ilsan, 'Gayo Daejeon Summer' is building on the excitement of its previously announced first lineup by confirming eight additional artists to elevate the festival to its peak. This second lineup features a stellar array of artists, ranging from global sensations and music chart-toppers to rising rookies leading the next generation of K-pop, promising a rich festival that spans genres and generations. First, the undisputed world-class artist Stray Kids and the next-generation global mega-trend BABYMONSTER have joined the second lineup. Stray Kids, who dominate the global music market with their unrivaled aura, and BABYMONSTER, who have captured the hearts of global fans with their powerful presence, are set to lead this summer's festival with legendary performances. In addition, NCT's TEN, who has captivated global fans with his unique artistry and high-caliber performances, and the super rookie group izna, who swept the music industry's attention immediately upon their debut, have confirmed their appearances. The lineup also highlights artists armed with distinct individuality and solid talent. BOL4, a chart-topping artist who captivates listeners with her unique vocals and emotional depth, and KISS OF LIFE, who are creating a sensation with their overwhelming live vocals and confident charm, have joined the lineup, further broadening the festival's musical spectrum. Lastly, rising rookie group KickFlip, armed with hip energy, and EVAN, who is gaining attention for his unique musicality after embarking on a solo career following his group activities, will join the stage to deliver energetic performances. Celebrating its third summer edition this year, 'Gayo Daejeon Summer' has now established a powerful lineup of 19 teams with this second announcement. Group izna's Choi Jung Eun has revealed her special interest in beauty content, expressing her hope to meet beauty creator RISABAE. On the afternoon of June 8, izna held a showcase at the Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their third mini-album, 'SET THE TEMPO,' sharing their excitement for their upcoming comeback promotions. During the event, the members shared their personal wishes when asked about content and variety shows they would like to appear on in the future. Choi Jung Eun said, I usually enjoy doing my own makeup and have a lot of interest in beauty. I would love to appear on RISABAE's YouTube channel and show a different visual transformation. KOKO expressed her ambition to appear on variety shows. She shared, I've been enjoying watching 'Knowing Bros' lately. Since I'm very interested in dancing, I would love to participate if there's an opportunity to showcase my dance skills. Bang Jee Min of the group izna has shared her thoughts on being dubbed a representative visual of the fifth generation. This follows the iconic fourth-generation visual lineup often represented by Jang-Ka-Sul-Yu (JANGWONYOUNG, KARINA, SULLYOON, and YUNA). The trio recently drew significant attention after appearing together on tvN's variety show 'Amazing Saturday'.
