ASTRO member and actor Cha Eun-woo is set to enlist. On the 29th, his agency Fantagio announced, Cha Eun-woo will enter the training center on July 28th to undergo basic military training before serving his duty in the Army Band. The reason behind this protest by some of Cha Eun-woo's fans is the recent surge in groundless slander against him online. Following the release of Moon on the 19th, a tribute to the late ASTRO member MOON BIN, which featured 22 of his close friends, some netizens accused Cha Eun-woo and his agency of exploiting the deceased for profit. Additionally, last month, a rumor spread primarily through YouTube claiming that Cha Eun-woo had only sent a wreath to the funeral of the late Kim Sae-ron and did not attend in person, which was later proven to be false. ASTRO Releases New Song in Memory of Late MOON BIN; Friends & Sister MOON SUA Join

The group ASTRO, under Fantagio, is set to release a new song in memory of their late member MOON BIN, with the help of fellow artists. ASTRO members MJ, JINJIN, Cha Eun-woo, and Yoon San-ha, along with VIVIZ, MONSTA X's MINHYUK, KIHYUN, and I.M, SEVENTEEN's HOSHI, WONWOO, MINGYU, DK, and SEUNGKWAN, HELLO GLOOM, ROCKY, Choi Yoojung, Kim Doyeon, SF9's CHANI, Stray Kids' Bang Chan, and Billie's MOON SUA, have collaborated on the single Memory of the Moon, which will be released on the 19th at 6 PM. Memory of the Moon is a heartfelt tribute crafted by MOON BIN's friends. ASTRO members, along with their colleagues in the music industry, have poured their sincere emotions into this song, hoping it serves as a comfort and gift to fans who remember and love MOON BIN. KINO of K-pop boy group PENTAGON shared his heartbreak over saying goodbye to both actress Kim Saeron and MOON BIN of boy group ASTRO at the same funeral over two years. On February 19, KINO took to Instagram to express his emotions after attending Kim Saeron's funeral. KINO wrote, In the past two years, I've had to say goodbye to two friends I loved at the same funeral. Saeron must have missed MOON BIN a lot. I've barely slept for two days, but I still can't fall asleep, revealing his deep sorrow. He went on to say, I'm grateful so many people came to send her off―I'm sure it brought her family some comfort. He also addressed the toxic side of fame, saying, How many more stars do we have to lose before this stops? What you see isn't everything. No one should have to endure baseless rumors, blown-up stories, and relentless hate just because they're in the public eye. I really hope we don't have to go through something like this again. KINO then ended his writing with a final goodbye to Kim Saeron: I hope you're happier now. You went through so much. Earlier on February 16, Kim Saeron was found dead at her home in Seongdong-gu, Seoul. MOON BIN was also found dead at his home in April 2023.
